    Good bike for the price.
This was one of the models on my 15 year old’s “short list” of bmx bikes. Not knowing how much he was going to ride it, I didn’t want to buy the $80 big box store bike, but also didn’t want to shell out $300+ for something that would be set aside after a couple of weeks.

The bike shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. It took less than 45 minutes on Christmas morning to assemble and check the tire pressure. A day or so later I readjusted the brake and adjusted the headset bearings. So far, so good – towards the end of this month I’ll go through and check / repack the bearings with some good Park grease and should be good to go for a while.

The comments about “this bicycle is only good for kids” are correct. As advertised, it’s a small framed BMX bike for doing tricks and goofing around on. If I had to nit-pick – the seat is kind of flimsy, but again this is not a $500 bicycle…

If you’re an adult that wants some thing more rideable / usable I’d suggest a mountain bike with slicks on it if you’re going to be riding around time. Otherwise, I do think this is a decent deal. Better yet, get your kid this bike and a book on how to maintain it and put them on the patch of cycling for a lifetime.
